NBA Point Spread Bets
In basketball and football, the point spread is the ultimate equalizer. It gives bad teams the chance of “covering” against good times. When you’re looking at a point spread, you’ll see the favourite team with a “-” in front of the number. Going back to our Denver Nuggets/Boston Celtics example, if the Nuggets are favoured by -1.5, that means the Nuggets need to win by two or more points to cover the spread.
